At university when given the introduction to all the sub genres of illustration practices, French Kate was most drawn to editorial illustraion as the idea of adding a memorable visual to an article about fashion, travel, feminism or climate change made her feel more hopeful about how art can change, inspire or add to ones vision of the world.
